We are a Co-operative Credit Society and we are “an autonomous association
of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and
aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise”.
In 2003 a group of social minded person from Thane City, staying around same city came together
as Thanekar with an intention to get familiar & help each other.
We are Committed to work consistently without pause, taking steps toward business goals and
quality services to our members. It is through consistent and diligent work, coupled with
patience and flexibility, that we can climb the ladder of success. Passion is the fuel that
ignites our desire to work hard. Just like a car cannot run without fuel, a business cannot
succeed without passionate, focused, hardworking people. When passion is present, success can
result. And the more success you experience, the more you will increase your passion. In this
way passion rewards itself. When passion is present, limits are virtually non-existent. We
believe that it's the last man standing who ends up winning the race and Excellence is the
gradual result of always striving to do better.
We are committed to follow the guidelines, ideologies and code of conduct set by our
predecessors. Society is thankful to all its Members, past Directors and Chairmen for lying a
strong foundation of the society. The hard work and dedicated spell of innings of our past
chairmen is the key to “Solid and Strong Foundation” of the society.
Our employees and well experienced members of Board of Directors are the backbone of our
society. Our employees are always available with a motto to render quick, effective, and door to
door services to our valuable members and our Board Members always keep a close monitoring on
the working of society.
